Raphael Bones MD - Internal Medicine
Dr. Raphael Bones was born and raised in beautiful Guayanilla Bay, Puerto Rico. He grew up in a family that enjoys fishing and water sports. While attending the University of Puerto Rico, he joined the US Navy as he felt committed to serving his country. At the birth of the new millennia he graduated from the Universidad Central Del Caribe Medical School. After completing two years of the General Surgery residency program in Puerto Rico he changed his goals and decided to complete his residency in Internal Medicine in 2005. As a physician, he has experience in various settings including Emergency Room, as a Hospitalist, and as a Primary Care Provider in outpatient clinics. Dr. Bones has been a member of The American Medical Association, The Florida Medical Association, The American Association for Physician Leadership, and The American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. In 2015 Dr. Bones joined Prixus Medical to practice primary care with integrative functional medicine. Now he enjoys practicing medicine the way he envisions it and in his spare time he loves playing golf and boating in the Florida coast waters.
